GVB, rev. an army on the shore, a navy at anchor, while in the foreground a classical figure assists the fallen figure of Justice, TERRAS. ASTRÆ. REUISIT., edge, NON. RAPIT. IMPERIUM. UIS. TUA. SED. RECIPIT, 50mm (van Loon III, 353; MI ii 639/64; Eimer 297b). Nearly extremely fine with old-collection tone.

This is the original medal and is struck. Due to its popularity cast copies were made at the time and presumably later but the struck original remains scarce.
