William and Mary (1689-94), silver Twopence, 1692, retrograde arabic 1 in date, conjoined busts right, GVL below busts, GVLIELMVS. ET. MARIA. D.G, rev. crowned mark of value, legend surrounds MAG. BR. FR. ET. HIB. REX. ET. REGINA, large letter G puncheons used in reverse legend, weight 1.00g (Seaman 39, dies E/5; Bull.947; ESC.2198; Robinson p.151:104; S.3443). Dark tone, some contact markings otherwise practically very fine.
The Latin legends translate to on obverse "William and Mary by the Grace of God" continuing on the reverse as "King and Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland.
