William and Mary (1689-94), silver Fourpence, 1689, Roman I in date, conjoined first busts right, legend reads GVLIELMVS. ET. MARIA. D.G, the G only below the bust, rev. crowned mark of value, legend surrounds MAG. BR. FR. ET. HIB. REX. ET. REGINA, weight 2.00g (Bull.878; ESC.1867; Robinson p.151: 95 (x); Seaman 83 obv. C + rev. 3; S.3439). Pleasing mottled olive tone with some flecking, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as AU58, rare so well preserved.
NGC certification 8220387-003.
The Latin legends translate to on obverse "William and Mary by the Grace of God" continuing on the reverse as "King and Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland.
