William IV (1830-37), silver Three-Halfpence, 1835, with 5 of date struck over 4, bare head right, legend and toothed border surrounding, GULIELMUS IIII D:G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F: D: rev. crowned value and date within oak wreath, weight 0.69g (Bull 2542; Davies 412; ESC 2251A; S.3839). Toned very fine.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the Briton's, Defender of the Faith."

Issued for Colonial use in Ceylon and the West Indies.
