William IV 1834 Shilling

William IV (1830-37), Silver Shilling, 1834, bare head right, legend GULIELMUS IIII D: G: BRITANNIAR: REX F: D: toothed border around rim both sides, rev. ONE / SHILLING in two lines at centre of crowned laurel and oak wreath, date below, weight 5.67g (Bull 2489; Davies 341; ESC 1268; S.3835). Attractively toned, good extremely fine.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "William IV by the Grace of God, King of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
