William IV (1830-37), silver Halfcrown, 1834, engraved by William Wyon, bare head right, W W block capitals incuse on truncation, legend GULIELMUS IIII D: G: BRITANNIAR: REX F: D:, toothed border around rim both sides, rev. quartered shield of arms with a crowned escutcheon of the Arms of Hanover, seven strings to Irish harp, within Order of the Garter upon crowned robed mantle, date below ANNO 1834, weight 14.19g (Bull 2474; Davies 322; ESC 660; C&R 1306 R2; S.3834A). Attractively toned, practically extremely fine.
