William IV (1830-37),gold Sovereign, 1832, second bare head right, nose points to second I in legend with flat top ear, W.W. incuse on truncation, GULIELMUS IIII D: G: BRITANNIAR: REX F: D: toothed border around rim both sides, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms in frame, ANNO 1831 below (Bentley 28; Hill 17; S.3829B).Toned with underlying brilliance, some surface marks, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as AU58.

NGC Certification 6671151-004.

The calendar year mintage of Sovereigns for 1832 totals 3,737,065.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "William IV by the Grace of God, King of the Britons, Defender of the Faith," and on the reverse "In the year 1832."
