William III (1694-1702), silver Shilling, 1700, taller 0s in date, fifth laureate and draped bust right, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, GVLIELMVS. III. DEI. GRA., the penultimate stop weak, rev. crowned cruciform shields, five strings to Irish harp, Lion of Nassau at centre, date either side of top crown, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, MAG. BR. FRA. ET. HIB. REX., weight 6.04g (ESC 1121; Bull 1150; S.3516). Attractively toned, small dig in obverse field, otherwise extremely fine.
