William III (1694-1702), silver Shilling, 1700, small round 0s in date, fifth laureate and draped bust right, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, GVLIELMVS. III. DEI. GRA. rev. crowned cruciform shields, Lion of Nassau at centre, date either side of top crown, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, MAG. BR. FRA. ET. HIB. REX. weight 5.96g (ESC 1121A; Bull 1151; S.3516). Attractively toned, a few tiny marks or flecks, good extremely fine.

The Latin legends translate as on the obverse "William III by the Grace of God," and abbreviated on the reverse as "King of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
