William III 1700 Crown MS63

William III (1694-1702), silver Crown, 1700, third laureate and draped bust variety right, legend and toothed border surrounding, GVLIELMVS. III. DEI. GRA. rev. crowned cruciform shields, Lion of Nassau at centre, date either side of top crown, .MAG. BR.FRA. ET.HIB. REX. edge inscribed in raised letters and dated, +.DECVS. ET. TVTAMEN. ANNO. REGNI. DVODECIMO. (Bull 1010; ESC 97; S.3474). Toned, a little weakly struck at high points of centre, otherwise a pleasing extremely fine, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as MS63.

NGC certification 4344895-005.

The Latin legends translate as on the obverse "William III by the Grace of God," and abbreviated on the reverse as "King of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
