III.DEI.GRA.,rev.crowned cruciform shields, Lion of Nassau at centre, date either side of top crown, .MAG. BR.FRA. ET.HIB. REX., the H in HIB possibly over another partial letter or flawed, weight 5.61g (cf.Bull 1104; ESC 1078; S.3497).Toned with heavy surface marks both sides and some weakness, fair to fine and an intriguing error in the legend in combination with an off-centre strike.
The Latin legends translate as on the obverse "William III by the Grace of God," and abbreviated on the reverse as "King of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
