William III (1694-1702), silver Crown, 1695, first laureate and draped bust right, legend and toothed border surrounding, GVLIELMVS. III. DEI. GRA., rev. crowned cruciform shields, Lion of Nassau at centre, early harp, date either side of top crown, .MAG. BR.FRA. ET.HIB. REX., edge inscribed in raised letters and dated, +..+.DECVS. ET. TVTAMEN. .ANNO. REGNI. OCTAVO., weight 29.93g (Bull 991; ESC 87; S.3470). Attractively toned, with some light flecking both sides, practically extremely fine.
