William and Mary (1688-94), silver Sixpence, 1693, conjoined laureate and draped busts right, legend and toothed border surrounding, GVLIELMVS. ET. MARIA. DEI. GRATIA, rev. crowned cruciform shields, Lion of Nassau at centre, date surrounding, WM monogram in each angle. legend and toothed border surrounding, MAG. BR. FR. ET. HI. REX. ET. REGINA., weight 3.02g (Bull 869; ESC 1529; S.3438). Toned, good very fine to almost extremely fine.
The Latin legends translate as on the obverse "William and Mary by the Grace of God," and abbreviated on the reverse as "King and Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
