William and Mary (1688-94), silver Shilling, 1693, the 9 struck over an O or inverted 9, conjoined laureate and draped busts right, legend surrounding, GVLIELMVS. ET. MARIA. DEI. GRATIA, toothed border around rim both sides, rev crowned cruciform shields, WM monogram in angles, Lion of Nassau at centre, date surrounding, MAG. BR. ER. ET. HI. REX. ET. REGINA. weight 5.94g (Bull -; ESC 1076A R4; Bull 867A R2; S.3437). Toned, very fine for issue and very rare.

The Latin legends translate as on the obverse "William and Mary by the Grace of God," and abbreviated on the reverse as "King and Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
