William and Mary 1691 Tin Farthing Peck 538

William and Mary (1688-94), tin Farthing, 1691, conjoined laureate and cuirassed busts right, Latin legend and toothed border both sides, GVLIELMVS ET. MARIA, rev. Britannia seated left on globe, with shield and spear, holding olive branch, BRITAN NIA. date in exergue, edge inscribed in raised letters, NVMMORVM + + FAMVLVS.1691 + + weight 5.38g (Peck 583 ER; S.3451). Toned almost very fine with some surface marks.

The Latin abbreviated legends translate as "William and Mary" and on the reverse "Britain," additionally on the edge "The servant of the coinage."
