REGINA., weight 4.11g (Bull EGC 381 R2; MCE 161; S.3429).Some light porosity to surfaces both sides, possibly from being in soil, some flecks, toned a bold very fine and rare.
The Latin legends translate to on obverse "William and Mary by the Grace of God" continuing on the reverse as "King and Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
The highest gold output of the reign occurred in the calendar year 1689 when £128,442 worth of gold coins were produced, presumably with most being made into Guineas as the Half-Guinea of the 1689 date is rare.
