Victoria 1896 Maundy set in dated case of issue

Victoria (1837-1901), silver Maundy set, 1896, Four, Three, Two and One New Pence, each with old head of Queen left, with raised T.B. for Thomas Brock below truncation, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA. DEI. GRA. BRITT. REGINA. FID. DEF. IND. IMP. rev. crowned mark of value with date either side all within oak wreath (Bull 3554; ESC 2511; S.3943). A little uneven in toning, practically as struck, in original dated black oblong case of issue, gold block lettering and crest on lid, maroon interior.

The mintage for all four denominations for 1896 would produce 8,476 Maundy sets.
