Victoria (1837-1901), gold proof Two Pounds, 1893, crowned, veiled bust left, T.B. initials below truncation for engraver Thomas Brock, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA. DEI. GRA. BRITT. REGINA. FID. DEF. IND. IMP., rev. St. George and dragon right, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue for designer Benedetto Pistrucci, edge milled (WR 294; Hill T36 R; S.3873). Almost brilliant as struck with several small surface nicks to the right of obverse portrait, graded by PCGS as PR64 CAMEO.
PCGS Certification 447177.64/44705001. We note this coin is the highest graded example with PCGS as of November 2022.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Empress of India".
