Victoria 1892 Florin, very rare

Victoria (1837-1901), silver Florin, 1892, crowned and veiled Jubilee type bust left, J.E.B. on truncation for engraver Joseph Edgar Boehm, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding both sides, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, rev. crowned cruciform shields, sceptres in angles, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, BRITT: REG: FID: DEF:, 11.36g (Bull 2960 R2; Davies 819; ESC 874 R2; S.3925). Proof-like brilliance with light uneven overtone, good extremely fine, practically as struck, and very rare.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the grace of God," on the obverse and "Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith." on the reverse.
