Victoria (1837-1901), gold Half-Sovereign, 1891, Golden Jubilee issue, crowned and veiled Jubilee style bust left, plain truncation, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, rev. crowned quartered low shield of arms, date spread apart below, BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF: edge milled, weight 3.98g (Marsh 480A; S.3869D). Toned very fine.
The Latin legends translates on obverse as "Victoria by the Grace of God," and on the reverse "Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
