Victoria 1891 Farthing
Victoria (1837-1901), bronze Farthing, 1891, "bun" type laureate and draped bust left, Latin legend and beaded border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D: rev. Britannia seated right on rock with trident and shield, lighthouse to left, ship to right, date in exergue, denomination in words and toothed border surrounding (Fr.564; S.3958). A few tiny specks and spots both sides, light toning with considerable lustre, uncirculated.
The Latin legend on obverse translates as "Victoria, by the grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
