Victoria 1887 Five-Pounds MS61

Victoria (1837-1901), gold Five Pounds, 1887, Jubilee type crowned bust left, J.E.B. initials on truncation, VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D: rev. St George and dragon right, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue (S.3864). Some light surface marks and hairlines, a pleasing extremely fine, has been graded and slabbed by NGC as MS61.

NGC Certification 4600778-008.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."

Calendar year mintage of 53,844.
