Victoria (1837-1901), gold Five Pounds, 1887, Jubilee type crowned bust left, J.E.B. initials on truncation, VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D: rev. St George and dragon right, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue, weight 39.98g (Schneider 653; Hill F30; Bull EGC 1307; S.3864). Some light hairlines and slight surface marks from prior polishing, otherwise extremely fine.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
