Victoria (1837-1901), gold Five Pounds, 1887, Jubilee type crowned bust left, J.E.B. initials on truncation, VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D: rev. St George and dragon right, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue, weight 39.97g (S.3864). Some light hairlines and slight surface marks, nick on cheek, otherwise a pleasing extremely fine.

Calendar year mintage of 53,844.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."
