Victoria (1837-1901), 7-coin silver Specimen Set, 1887, Golden Jubilee issue, silver Crown, Double-Florin with Arabic 1, Halfcrown, Florin, Shilling, Sixpence of withdrawn reverse type, Threepence, edges milled (ESC 296, 395, 719, 868, 1351, 1752, 2096; Bull 2585, 2697, 2771, 2953, 3137, 3264, 3436; S.3921, 3923, 3924, 3925, 3926, 3928, 3931). All coins toned to some extent, the smaller denominations more deeply coloured than the larger, generally extremely fine or better, the Crown and Double-Florin extremely fine, all other denominations good extremely fine.
The Latin legend on all coins translates as "Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith" whether the legend on one side or across both sides.
All coins were once component parts of a boxed long currency set which was split up and dispersed.
