Victoria 1884 Farthing MS64RD
Victoria (1837-1901), bronze Farthing, 1884, laureate "bun style" bust left, 3 berries in wreath, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D: rev. Britannia seated right with trident and shield, denomination in words surrounding, date in exergue (Freeman 553, dies 7+F; S.3958). Lightly toned over near full lustre, graded by NGC as MS64 RD.

We note currently a total of 68 examples of the 1884 Farthing have been graded at both services, this is the only one graded MS64 Red at NGC and only one is so graded at PCGS. Only five coins grade finer meaning this coin is within the top 10% of the current population.
