Victoria (1837-1901), bronze Farthing, 1884, laureate "bun style" bust left, 3 berries in wreath, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D: rev. Britannia seated right with trident and shield, denomination in words surrounding, date in exergue (Freeman 553, dies 7+F; S.3958). Streaky tone over considerable lustre, otherwise uncirculated.

The abbreviated Latin legend on the obverse translates as "Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."
