Victoria (1837-1901), silver Shilling, 1874, upper serif to 4, die number 55, third young filleted head left, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITANNIAR: REG: F: D: rev. crowned mark of value within laurel and oak wreath, die number 55 and date below, weight 5.65g (Bull 3044; ESC 1326; Davies 902; S.3906A). Unevenly toned, extremely fine, reverse better.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."
