Victoria (1837-1901), silver Shilling, 1873, die number 42, third young filleted head left, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITANNIAR: REG: F: D: rev. crowned mark of value within laurel and oak wreath, die number 42 and date below, weight 5.66g (Bull 3043; ESC 1325; Davies 901; S.3906A). Toned, with a few light nicks, extremely fine.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."
