Victoria (1837-1901), silver Shilling, 1868, die number 9, third young head left, plain truncation, legend VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITANNIAR: REG: F: D: toothed border around rim both sides, rev. ONE / SHILLING in two lines at centre of crowned laurel and oak wreath, date with die number 9 below, weight 5.65g (Bull 3036; Davies 896; ESC 1318; S.3906A). Attractively toned, has been graded and slabbed as MS61.

NGC Certification 6133357-005

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."
