Victoria (1837-1901), cupro-nickel Proof Third-Farthing, 1868, laureate head left, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D. G. BRITT. REG. F. D., rev. struck en medaille, crown over three line inscription, oak wreath surrounding, ONE THIRD / FARTHING/ 1868 (Peck 1930; S.3960). Toned, a couple of tiny spots, practically as struck, and rare, has been graded and slabbed by CGS UK as UNC85, rare.
CGS UK certification 21074 - TF.V1.1868.03.
The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
