Victoria (1837-1901), cupro-nickel Proof Half-Farthing, 1868, young head left, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F: D:, rev. crown over three line inscription with emblematic spray below, HALF / FARTHING/ 1868 (Peck 1604; S.3951). Toned with some rim cud on obverse and light speckling, practically as struck, and rare, has been graded and slabbed by CGS UK as UNC80, very rare.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
