Victoria (1837-1901), bronzed copper Proof Quarter Farthing, 1868, young head left, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F: D: rev. crown over three line inscription with emblematic spray below, QUARTER / FARTHING/ 1868, open top to Q in legend (Peck 1616; S.3953). Toned with hints of lustre in legend, practically as struck, and rare, has been graded and slabbed by CGS UK as AU75.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."
