Victoria (1837-1901), silver Sixpence, 1865, Die number 1, first young head left, legend VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITANNIAR: REG: F: D:, toothed border around rim both sides, rev. inverted die axis, SIX / PENCE in two lines at centre of crowned laurel and oak wreath, small die number above date below, edge milled, weight 2.83g (Bull 3212; Davies 1067; ESC 1714; S.3909). Lightly toned, practically extremely fine.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
