Victoria (1837-1901), gold Sovereign, 1863, hooked open 6 in date, die number 2, second young filleted head left, W.W. incuse on truncation for engraver William Wyon, date below, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms, laurel wreath surrounding, die number 2 and emblems below, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF: (Bentley 99; Marsh 48; S.3853). Toned, some light surface marks, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as MS62.

NGC Certification 6135271-019.
Calendar year mintage 5,921,669.
The Latin legends translates on obverse as "Victoria by the Grace of God," and on the reverse "Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."
