Victoria (1837-1901), copper Quarter Farthing, 1853, young head left, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F: D: rev. crown over three line inscription with emblematic spray below, QUARTER / FARTHING/ 1853, weight 1.23g (Peck 1612; S.3953). Toned about very fine.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
