Victoria (1837-1901), copper Proof Half-Farthing, 1853, the 5 struck over a lower 5, young head left, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F: D:, rev. struck en medaille, crown over three line inscription with emblematic spray below, HALF / FARTHING/ 1853 (Peck 1601; S.3951). Toned, has been graded and slabbed by CGS UK as Corrosion UNC yellow label, though nothing visible in the plastic, rare.

CGS UK certification 29004-HF.V1.1853.06.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."
