Victoria (1837-1901), Pattern silver Florin, 1848, engraved by William Wyon, young head left with ribbon tie in hair, date beLow, legend and beaded border surrounding, VICTORIA REGINA, rev. ONE / DECADE in two lines at centre of oak wreath, 100 MILLES above, ONE TENTH OF A POUND below, edge plain (Bull 2941; ESC 909 type C/Cvi; Davies 714). Attractively toned, practically as struck, very rare, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as PF65.
