Victoria (1837-1901), copper Half-Farthing, 1844, young filleted head left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F: D: rev. crown over denomination in words and date, emblems below (Peck 1594; S.3951). Toned a little unevenly with speckling, considerable lustre otherwise uncirculated.£110

The Latin legends translate as on obverse "Victoria, by the grace of God," and on the reverse "Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
