Victoria (1837-1901), copper Half-Farthing, 1844, young filleted head left, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F:D: with broken bottom to O in Queen's name, rev. crowned denomination and date in three lines, emblems below, weight 2.40g (Peck 1594; S.3951). Toned practically extremely fine.

The abbreviated Latin legends translate as on the obverse "Victoria by the grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith"

Mintage = 6,451,200.
