Victoria (1837-1901), silver Three-Halfpence, 1843, flat top to 4 in date, young head left, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D:G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F: D: rev. crowned value and date within oak wreath (Bull 3468; Davies 1385; ESC 2259; S.3915). Attractively toned, a pleasing extremely fine, has been graded and slabbed by CGS UK as CGS AU 78, the flat top 4 noted as CGS variety 5, rare.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the Briton's, Defender of the Faith."
