Britannia seated right with ornamental trident and shield, emblems in exergue, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, BRITANNIAR: REG FID: DEF : colon further from DEF, no colon after G, weight 9.32g (Peck 1524; S.3949). With considerable lustre, some spots and blemishes, has been graded and slabbed by NGC as MS64RB.
NGC Certification 5880648-022.
The Latin legends translate as on obverse "Victoria, by the grace of God," and on the reverse "Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."
