Victoria (1837-1901),copper Farthing, 1841, young filleted head left, w.w. incuse on truncation for engraver William Wyon, date below, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, A's of last word with weak bars,rev.Britannia seated right with trident and shield, legend and toothed border surrounding, BRITANNIAR: REG: FID: DEF: emblems in exergue (Peck 1560; S.3950).Toned with a little underlying lustre, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as MS64BN.

NGC Certification 8219630-001.

The abbreviated Latin legend on the obverse translates as on obverse "Victoria by the Grace of God" and on reverse as "Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
