Victoria (1837-1901), Bronzed Proof copper Farthing, 1839, young filleted head left, date below, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, rev. inverted die axis, Britannia seated right with trident and shield, legend and toothed border surrounding, BRITANNIAR: REG: FID: DEF: emblems in exergue (Peck 1557; S.3950). A few tiny specks on both sides, otherwise toned with proof brilliance, practically as struck, becoming very rare in the UK market-place, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as PF64BN.
