Thessaly, Larissa (c. 348-336 B.C.), Silver Drachm. Head of the nymph Larissa facing, slightly inclined to the right, wearing an ampyx in her hair, rev. [Λ]API, horse standing right, its head lowered, 6.04g., 11h (BCD 246 (this obverse die); Lorber, 'The Early Facing Head Drachms of Thessalian Larissa', in Florilegium Numismaticum: Studia in Honorem U. Westermark (1992), 67.2a (this obverse die)). Good style, a few light marks beneath an attractive old cabinet tone, some light deposit in exergue, good very fine to nearly extremely fine, with an old pedigree.
