T CARISIVS, coining implements: an anvil die with a garlanded punch die above, tongs on left, hammer on right; all within a laurel-wreath, 3.70g., 7h (Crawford 464/2; Sydenham 982; RBW 1614). Beautiful old cabinet tone, minor areas of weakness but well-centred on a broad flan, about extremely fine, a very good example.
