Scotland, Robert the Bruce (1306-29), silver Halfpenny, crowned head left, sceptre before, beaded circles and legend surrounding, +:ROBERTVS: DEI: GRA:, rev. long cross pattée, pierced mullet in two opposing quarters, beaded circles SCO TOR Vm R EX+, weight 0.64g (Burns 1, fig 227; S.5077). Toned flat strike on portrait, otherwise a bold very fine and rare.
The abbreviated Latin legends translate as on obverse "Robert by the grace of God, and on the reverse as " King of Scotland."
