Scotland, Robert II (1371-90), silver Halfpenny, Edinburgh Mint, crowned head left, sceptre before, beaded circles and legend surrounding, +ROBERTVS REX, rev. long cross pattee, pierced mullet in each inner angle, beaded circles +VIL LA E DIn BVR, weight 0.46g (Burns 3, fig.315; S.5152). Struck a little off-centre, toned, a bold very fine and rare.

The abbreviated Latin legends translate as on obverse "Robert King." and on the reverse as "Town of Edinburgh."
