D. G. SCOT. ANG. FR. &. HIB. R.,rev.crowned thistle, legend commences upper right, .IVST. THRONVM. FIRMAT., weight 0.54g (Burns 57; S.5591).Unevenly toned and struck off-centre, otherwise almost very fine / good very fine.
The abbreviated Latin legends translate as on the obverse "Charles by the Grace of God, King of Scotland, England, France and Ireland" and on the reverse "The safety of the State is the supreme law."
