Scotland, 1801 grid iron cancellation over merchant countermark, 1801 FM

Scotland,cancelled Merchant countermark upon Spanish Eight Reales of Ferdinand VII, 1801 FM, Mexico City Mint, Mexico, possibly Thistle Bank Glasgow, cancelled Four Shillings and Ninepence, with a grid iron cancellation, weight 26.92g (cf.Manville 46).Toned with a well centred cancellation to extinguish the original countetmark, good very fine and rare.
